My favorite sweater this winter! Buy of the Week: Carly

I have been really focused this fall/winter on building up my basics. Last season I purchased the Vince funnel neck cashmere sweater. I was a huge splurge for me, but I found myself wearing it at least 1-2x per week. So moving into this season, I envisioned myself wearing sweater and interesting pant pretty much every day as it is great for appointments and not too dressy for my casual life. It is comfortable (most important to me), SO cozy, and as someone who just can't wear wool (it makes me itch so badly) I knew I was on the hunt for some great cashmere.
While in Boston for a quick trip I popped into the Vince store there as I was after a basic black cashmere sweater. I hadn't found anything in the cities I loved and I didn't want the same style I bought last season. I ended up finding a fabulous black lightweight turtleneck sweater that I can't find anywhere online, but also my buy of the week in maroon! I purchased it in a medium (every other item I own by vince is an xs) as I liked it a bit boxier, but it has become by go-to this winter. I LOVE the cropped length of it as it is not too cropped (I'm 5'8" and regularly wear it with my kids with no worry), but it falls in a place that I don't have to tuck it in. I have loved it with everything from leather skinny pants for a date night to distressed straight leg denim with sneakers.
Could not find the maroon online, but perhaps this white (now on sale on both the zappos and Vince websites) should be in my future purchases?!? Five stars as I have worn it a TON, still looks fabulous, and I get compliments each time I wear it!
