Excitement surrounds a good sale rack. The adrenaline of finding "that one special piece at a discount" or simply the thrill of immersing yourself into fabrics, colors & patterns, just feels good sometimes! Being that it is the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, we figured it would be an excellent time to not only give our suggestions (CLICK HERE) from the sale, but also guide on HOW we would shop it.
Shop with INTENTION. Stylist Victoria says "If you don't love an item at regular price, you equally won't love it on sale as it collects dust in your closet. It instantly becomes the most costly item in your wardrobe as it takes up real-estate and also causes you stress in getting dressed."
Unsure on what to buy but want to be a part of the sale shopping? Classics are never a bad option. Consider premium denim & leather products like shoes, handbags or belts. They are items that get worn daily without fail.
On the other hand, if you are wanting to try a trend but are unsure if it is you, take a sale as an opportunity to do so at a lower investment.
Whether you are shopping in store or online, be sure to try your items on with other items in your inventory. Ensure that there is cohesion and versatility before taking those tags off.
