Feature Boutique: Primp Boutique
Two years ago when my son got married, his wedding was in the town of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. I had driven through White Bear but, I hadn't spent any time there. In the months leading up to his wedding, I made numerous trips there and fell in love with the town's historical architecture, that gave it it's character. The historical downtown is built up on a square of streets that now host a number of boutiques, antique shops, salons, bakeries and restaurants. It's has something for everyone! This is where I found PRIMP boutique, located on the corner of 4th Street and Banning Ave. Their promotional materials state, "cheap, chic, boutique", under their store name. As I broused their store, I would see if this was an accurate statement.
I entered through their double doors which opened to a spacious showroom. I was immediately drawn to the front table with the cute black with white polka dot ankle pants .
I walked the room, looking through each section and pulling items that I was personally drawn to. The first item I pulled was this gray tee (brand: "Standard" - $28) with the side tie. It fit to size and the angled lines were flattering. I bought it.
Next, I tried this linen navy blazer with green palm branches (brand: "Charlie Moss" - $60). The sizing was spot on. I could envision pairing it with a navy tank, distressed denim shorts and cognac leather strappy sandals. What a fun Summer statement piece!
It's June! The calendar is filled with graduation parties and weddings. PRIMP's dress selection gave fresh and fun options, ranging from this classic coral & blue striped wrap dress (brand: Skies are blue - $48) to this red vintage inspired fit and flare (brand: "618" - $52). Both, stylish and affordable.

I visited with Anna, the store manager, as I broused the store. She told me that PRIMP's White Bear Lake location was the first of their stores to launch a new plus size line. Yay! I'm always happy when stores give more stylish options in a more complete size selection. I must say, "Thank you, PRIMP!" This light weight denim jacket (brand: "Standard - $52) and pink floral A-line skirt are from this new line.

As I ponder my impressions of shopping at the White Bear Lake PRIMP boutique, I'd discribe their product as polished bohemian. And...their moto, "Cheap . Chic . Boutique" was correct. Their prices were fantastic and their merchandise was quality and on-trend.
