Buy-of-the-Week: Carly

Ever have those whim purchases that save the day? Today I am writing about my rockstar of summer, my Birkenstock Arizona Waterproof Slides.

Last summer, I didn't want to jump on the Birkenstock band wagon and instead purchased a similar style in black from Tory Burch. I LOVE them and have worn a gazillion times, but they are leather and I spend a ton of time by the water. Not that I didn't wear them there also, but remember how I REALLY like them? I adore those babies and want to keep them nice. So early this summer, on a whim I saw the Arizona slide came in waterproof and bought them on Nordstrom's site while I walked out to get the mail. I figured I could always return and had two minutes to myself, ha!

They came a few days later and I have literally been wearing them everyday, everywhere. I have terrible feet, so the arch support has been so comfortable and they are beyond light. I also don't have to worry if I am wet, sweaty, or dirty as they just dry/wipe clean.

Woohoo for the whim purchases that are winners!
