Tortoise Shell Hair Accessories Summer 2020

Before shelter-in-place started, Kathy Banta and I spent one last time

together at Mall of America (We had no idea this would be the case. It was Friday, March 13). We always enjoy these adventures as we scope out new trends, touch fabrics, and get inspired through store window displays. It is truly our happy place!

As we explored various stores, the biggest eye-catcher for me, were the hair accessories; specifically, tortoise shell style ones. Between clips and barrettes, I was seeing them at many stores. My favorites were found at Ann Taylor and Anthropologie. I like that they are in colors beyond the traditional brown and black combinations. The green is especially stunning!

Make something like this act as a statement in your outfit. A basic white tee, denim jacket, and a cute slip-on sneaker will put ease and style into your summer look.
