Stylist Saturday: Carly

This look has been a favorite of my this fall. Not super interesting, but I think it looks killer without seeming to try to hard. I started out with a boxy turtleneck from JCrew (same style in navy) and front tucked it into a high leg straight jean by Paige. I am getting on board to the turtleneck trend, however find that a super fitted style through the neck looks dreadful on me. So love this loose fitting, almost mock neck style from JCrew. I am also obsessed with the stripe, as it gives the top character while still being neutral. I finished the look with my favorite new fall item, this boot in an ivory by Franco Sarto and a chunky Madewell gold earring (similar). I adore the fact that they are an ode to the white boot trend, but are not so stark white. I also love the stacked heel as opposed to the small stiletto more white boots have, as I feel like they transition better between pants and skirts/dresses.
