Stylist Saturday: Wedding Bliss

As many of you may know, I just got married August 11, 2017. The day was unlike any other; full of love, happiness, and pure joy. We actually just received our photos from the celebration so I thought it was perfect timing to share with all of you (as promised over a year ago!) what I ended up choosing for my wedding dress.

At 5 foot 2 inches, I needed something that was more sheath or mermaid in silhouette. I loved the idea of lace, silk, an emphasis on the waist, and romantic in feel. When I found THE dress, I knew. I could feel it. Everyone around me could feel it. I instantly visualized myself walking down the aisle wearing it. Although I put it on hold to think about, I was right back in the next day to purchase. The pictures below are prior to any alterations.

It was near perfect. With some minor adjustments, and a sharp tailor, it would be impeccable.

We added spaghetti straps as well as a brooch for the center of the sash.

I had gone to my final fitting and everything was perfectly in place. I was ready to walk down the aisle.

The day of the wedding, I felt as though I was in a fairy tale.

...And we danced the night away as Mr & Mrs.
