Why I bought it
I was shopping with a client, who was looking for several dresses to wear to wedding events. This dress was one of the dresses she purchased. It was stunning on her! I love this dress because, the color blocking down the sides is slimming and the ruching at the waistline camoflauges a tummy. I own a similar dress from last season's collection and I feel like a million bucks when I wear it. One of my favorite aspects of Lauren Ralph Lauren dresses is the fitted lining inside the dress, that smooths and keeps everything in place. This dress won't disappoint.
Wear & Pair
I would pair this with a bold colored, long strand of beads; a bright blue or red, knotted just below the bust. The bold colors playfully pop on the black and white.
I've worn black heels with this dress but, my client tried a long strand of natural pearls on with this dress and we paired it with nude sling-back heels. It was a rich, elegant look.
