Stylist Saturday: Carly on Trend Silk Pajama Inspired Blazers

John loved this outfit so much he wanted to partake in pictures! On this steamy summer day I was headed out for a shop with a client. Meaning I needed a layer to keep me warm in the AC and comfortable shoes for running around.

You've seen me wearing these Pilcro shorts (same style, slightly lighter wash) before, I love the length, wash and comfort of them. I tucked in a white tank (this season from loft) and topped my ensemble with a silk pajama inspired blazer by Zara. Definitely not a look for everyone, but I am obsessed with these pajama-esque blazers right now. I bought this one in particular as is has a bit more structure and is styled similarly to a typical longer blazer with a long lapel. I couldn't find mine on Zara online, but here is a similar one from Zara as well as an awesome one I love at Nordstrom.

To finish the look I strapped on a block heel sandal I bought last year from Ann Taylor (basically the exact same style here from Steve Madden).

Loved this look, felt chic and stylish all day, as well as cool and comfortable. I think this would make an awesome business casual look as well by swapping out my short for a skinny denim or black ankle dress pant!
