Stylist Saturday: Sydnie

Last weekend was a great one for 2 reasons:

1. My mom and baby sister came for a visit

2. I took them to Opitz for some retail therapy

We (stylists) have mentioned Optiz in our blogs before. If you haven't been there, it's an

experience. Everything is organized by size and color. Sounds easy enough, right? You then have to dig piece by piece along the mile-long racks in hopes of scoring big with your favorite brands that just happen to be reduced in price.

I was talking to a gal about this recently. "It's like a hunt for women" she said. I hadn't thought about it that way, but it's totally true. Through patience and execution, you can really come out with a trophy.

Although the atmosphere can feel somewhat overwhelming, it's worth the energy. I think my biggest dislike about the experience is only being able to bring in 6 items at a time into the dressing room (totally get why they do it, though).

This last shopping trip awarded me a great new outfit.

Cupcakes and Cashmere Open Weave Sweater----------------------------------$11.00 (originally $110.00)

J Brand for Theory Light Wash Denim------------------------------------------------$60.00 (originally $198.00)

Via Spiga Black Leather Perforated Slip-On-----------------------------------------$50.00 (originally $175.00)

***Similar options for sweater, jeans, and wedges (in picture)***

Your shopping adventures await!

XOXO

Sydnie
