Buy-of-the-Week: Body Bronzer
What is it?
Jergens Natural Glow Bronzer and Sally Hansen Airbrushed Legs
Where did you buy it?
Ulta and Target $12.99 and $9.99
Why did you buy it?
In the summer I tan very easily but sometimes it’s slightly blotchy looking. This evens out my color nicely. I also use both products all season long!
How do you wear and pair?
I have a ton of bottoms that I love, so I mix and match this black top with nearly all of them. I have some bright coral and pink solids, b&w patterned styles, and a navy/black that complete the look perfectly.
I rated both of these products 5 stars
Several clients of mine have been telling me they can’t go bare legged in the summer because there legs are so white.
Here’s my feeling on the matter… creamy white legs are beautiful AND often times look the most elegant. I do suggest if you do have un-bronzed legs, wearing a nude or cream shoe will be most flattering. The shoe becomes an extension of your legs and will make your legs look longer.
If you do love the look of a bronzed leg ..my 2 FAVES are Jergens Natural Glow and Airbrushed legs by Sally Hansen.
They are very different products, the Jergens Natural Glow is a build-able tan. It’s a lotion (conditioning) and bronzer in one and because its build-able it’s impossible to put too much on. I have used this for years and it has been a staple for me.
Sally Hansen Airbrushed legs gives you full coverage color and actually gives your legs the appearance of a flawless airbrushed look. This does wash right off in the shower and needs to be reapplied each time you desire the look.
I suggest wearing a mitt (you can purchase in any beauty dept) just lightly spray legs and gently rub.
Here is my guide for bare legs at work:
AT A CORPORATE OFFICE: Don’t go without hosiery until you see someone senior doing it.
AT A BUSINESS-CASUAL OFFICE: Sure, but opt for shoes with more coverage instead of a bare sandal.
AT A CREATIVE OFFICE: – Absolutely!
