SNEAKERS!!! You have no idea how excited I am to be writing about sneakers. Honestly, shoes in general are just so much fun for me. My love for sneakers developed so many years ago. I want to say when I was in 7th grade I bought a pair of hightop Puma's. These Puma's are my pride and joy. I still have them to this day and I will NEVER get rid of them!
Surprisingly, there is one thing about my style that has never changed, my love of statement shoes. I collect statement shoes, but within the last couple years, it has turned into collecting statement sneakers.
Sneakers go with literally everything. I love them with flowy dress as much as I love them with some skinny jeans. If you have the chance to go shopping with me, you will definitely hear the word sneaker come out of my mouth at least 5 times!
When wearing statement sneakers, I think it's really important to make them the center of the outfit. First, pick out what shoes you want to wear and base the outfit off of them. Fun statement sneakers have been developing as a trend for quite some time. You have more basic options, such as Vans, Converse, and Superga's, which you can wear with almost any outfit, and then you have the other side of the spectrum which has Golden Goose, Steve Madden, and P448's. In my opinion, I think everyone should start off with a basic pair that can easily be worn with everything and then a super fun and almost obnoxious pair that you can only wear once in a blue moon.
