Skirt: Stylist Devin

I love a good denim skirt. I think it's a great alternative to a pair of shorts in the summer and it makes an outfit a little nicer looking. Denim skirts come in a variety of different styles, but I prefer a simple high-rise skirt with a raw hem. My life is very casual so this style of a denim skirt fits into it well. I have styled my skirt in many ways, but I always go for a graphic tee (no surprise there). I have styled it in the past with a sweater to dress it up a little bit or a nicer top if I'm wearing it out to dinner or on vacation.

The skirt I'm wearing here is from Topshop. I really like this one specifically because the length of it is perfect for me. It's also more rigid so it really holds you in! You have to be really careful with skirts and make sure they aren't too short because a lot can be revealed very easily ;)!

You can see that the hem of the skirt is just a hair shorter than my finger tips, and that's exactly where I like it to be to make sure I'm in the clear!

If you're looking for a denim skirt with more stretch, I LOVE this one by Sanctuary. It is beyond comfy!

(I would have taken a picture in this one but it was a wrinkled mess and I'm currently without an iron :/)

Now, go pull out those skirts and just wear them around the house because they need some attention!
