Versatile Midi Dress Buy of the Week: Devin

This week’s Buy of The Week comes from the one and only Nordstrom! What can I say, I’m a loyal Nordstrom shopper! I was out shopping with my mom last week and we were on a mission. My mom doesn’t live in Minnesota, and where she lives is a good 20 degrees warmer than Minnesota, so she was in need of clothing that is for warmer winter weather. She’s used to dressing in her usual jeans and a chunky sweater but ever since moving, that’s been too hot! The first thing I thought about was lighter sweaters but then I starting thinking, what if we found a longer dress that she can wear booties with and layer with a cool jacket for when it’s on the chilly side but something she can also transition into spring? That became my mission for the shopping trip and that’s when I found the Treasure & Bond Blouson Midi Dress!

This dress is literally a dream. It has a faux wrap, creating a V-neck which is always flattering, and the cinching at the waist helps create a shape.

I’m a sucker for a long floral, boho, romantic looking dress paired with super cool and edgy booties and a leather jacket. It’s one of my absolute favorite trends and I never want it to go away. How this dress is styled on the Nordstrom website is perfection! Mixing the prints, the snake skin booties and the floral pattern on the dress, is so cool.

If that edgy of a look isn’t for you, this dress can easily be worn with a simple black pump to work, or a sneaker and a denim jacket for strolling around town.

The best thing about this dress is that the brand is Treasure & Bond. Treasure & Bond is a Nordstrom brand that donates a certain percentage of its net sales to an organization. In this case, they will be donating 2.5% of its net sales towards organizations that work to empower youth. How awesome is that?
