Professional Attire: Stylist Kathy
I have always loved business professional looks. When I was a little girl our family lived next door to our landlord, who was a business woman who owned her own company and our house (my dad worked for her). She was a great influence on me of what "women leaders" look like. When she entered a room one didn't wonder who was in charge. She was polished and professional.
Many businesses are becoming more and more "business casual".
If a leader shows up in casual attire it's hard for me, personally, to trust that they are going to be polished and detailed in their work.
When women want to move up the ladder, I often get a call to help them up their game. This is one of my favorite things to do.
If you want to be considered for a promotion to a lead position you'll get noticed quicker if you look like a leader. No need to be starch-y but, you want that complete look.
As 2020 rolls in and you are setting your professional goals, keep me in mind for your wardrobe. This is what I do and I would love to help!
