Why I bought it
For the last three summers our family has gone camping for a week. Yes, A WEEK! We're doing it again this summer. We'll be spending four days camping on the shore of Lake Superior with a large group from our church and then travelling south to finish off our week in Lanesboro, camping with dear family friends. This calls for quite different attire than pretty skirts or dresses with heels, my typical go-to's. :)
My husband and I decided that we needed to up our quality of gear this year and wanted a larger tent. Seven days in a small space can get on your nerves. We wanted to be able to stand completely up in our tent. So, we went out to Fleet Farm and found a new tent. But, while passing the racks of camo tshirts and John Deer sweat shirts I spotted a rack of Columbia brand skorts in a variety of colors. I tried this burgundy one on and knew I would wear it this summer. I wear skorts quite often during the Summer months. This one has stretch in it for movement. I'll wear it on our camping trip and biking, too.
My husband is sure I can find something to add to my wardrobe in any store! Maybe it's true. I didn't expect to find this option on this day but, it's a great find.

I will wear it with navy blue tank and a white jacket or a white tank paired with my black windbreaker.
