We are officially halfway into March and although the weather is still testing our patience, the promise of warmth is on its way. As the white blankets of snow begin to fade from the ground, start to consider adding the same hue to brighten your spring and summer wardrobe. You'll feel fresh after so many dark, bleak months! Use it as a layer or a shell piece. For a bolder choice, pant can also be appropriate.

The most practical option is this White House Black Market Dual Neck Essential Tank. I personally keep this on hand for an easy shell. It functions year round with various layers to place over top of it. Pair with a colored chino or pant along with a denim jacket and slip-on sneaker.

On the other hand, a top layer is also a great way to add in the white tone. Club Monaco tends to have excellent statement pieces for the closet. They come with a slightly higher price tag, but it's well worth the investment if it is something you love!! Pair this over a bright hue (either solid or pattern).

Wearing white on bottom may feel bolder than what you are after, but honestly, having a good pair of white denim is awesome for the spring through fall wardrobe. Madewell has done well with white denim that is not see-through and yet fits well. Their high rises are a hit as they really emphasize the waist and continue down to draw a nice leg line.
