Stylist Saturday: Sydnie

Although our main focus at A La Mode is fashion, many times, make-up and beauty follows that.

Our stylist, Debi, actually takes clients under her wing to help them discover the best make-up product and application tips.

Beyond that service, we also like sharing our personal favorites. Every person is different. We have varying skin types, tones, and overall, desired looks. I thought on this Stylist Saturday, I would share with you my go-to lip.

Lips can be tricky, especially approaching into a dry winter. However, I have found a formula

that works well for me for several hours before needing to reapply.

1. Start with a fantastic lip balm. I have fallen in love with Intelligent Nutrients. They are actually based out of Minneapolis and have fantastic products with natural ingredients.

2. Next I apply a color base. I like Milk Makeup Demi-Matt Lipstick for it's soft application and pigmented appearance. The mauve color is neutral and goes with various make-up combinations.

3. Finish the look up with Sephora Cream Stain Liquid Lipstick. Use Marvelous Mauve to compliment the base color.

This is my favorite way to color my lips!
