Why I bought it
Whenever I wear a dress or skirt, I want that smooth, no panty line look. I like high waistlines and a little lycra but, not much. I've found that most women like high waistlines. I think it's because anyone who's lived through the lowrise trends, knows that they are distructive on women's waistlines, giving us no support. We don't want that again. (At least, most of us don't want that again.)
When I started working for A La Mode and got the regular question about shapewear and what brand I would recommend, I started buying and trying out shapewear so, I could give a real opinion. I've tried expensive and boxstore brands.
So, here's my thoughts: I do not like shapewear. If you wear it very long, it makes your insides ache. This cannot be healthy. (If you do buy shapewear, buy a size up.) But, I do want a smooth look and found this light weight high-waisted panty that is comfortable and makes me feel secure. I realize that these are not sexy but, when the dress is on, that doesn't matter.
Wear & Pair
I recommend these with skirts and dresses. Under garments for pants and denim are a whole different choice. But, these are my recommendation to be worn with skirts and dresses.
