CARLY
started her styling journey in the classroom, teaching high school students about fashion and clothing construction. To supplement her love of fashion, she began working as a personal shopper with a local boutique and a Boston-based styling firm as side jobs. After six years in Boston, Carly headed home to her beloved midwest in 2011 to pursue her wardrobe consulting dream and À La Mode was born. Making her clients feel stylish, in an effortless way, is Carly's favorite part of her job. Carly loves any great boho-chic outfit, helping women find their waist, and getting men out of black shoes! When she is not styling, Carly adores spending time with her two small kiddos, eating out with her husband, getting outside for a run, and reading a fiction book or US weekly.
*Beginning December 15th, 2019 Carly will only be taking in person appointments for existing clients during our "high season" March 15th-June 15th and September 1st-December 15th. She will be available for online work during her off months*
KATHY
loves meeting new people and helping women grow more confident in whom they are in their everyday wardrobe or dressing for that special event. Kathy has always had a love for fashion, but her education of outfitting others started while working retail fitting rooms. Kathy often says, "Fit is to fit; it's not too big or too tight." Kathy is a blog author at Bridging the Gap ( www.mnbtg.org ) where she often writes about self esteem, new trends and stylists tips. One of her newest adventures is speaking for women's conferences and hosting style shows.
Kathy is a wife of 28 years and mom of three children, ranging in ages from 17 to 32. She understands the different hats moms wear and the need for versatile ward-robing, running from the office to the kids’ soccer game. Kathy wants you to be confident and comfortable in your clothing. She will help you know how to choose styles that fit your body type and lifestyle.

SYDNIE
By the time she was old enough to be drawn to the aesthetics of fashion apparel, she knew the mall was her second home. Her earliest memories came from being pushed in her stroller through the array of window displays, fabrics and people.
This environment intrigued her young mind. She even gave her best efforts in dressing herself fashion-forward; although this may have included mis-matched socks, crazy patterns, and vibrant colors, it was the start to a life-long journey. Since then, Sydnie has studied at South Dakota State University and obtained her degree in apparel merchandising and minors in dance and business in 2014. The most notable experience through her college journey was interning for Project Runway famed designer, Christopher Straub in the Minneapolis area the summer of 2013. She learned so many ins and outs of garment construction, that it made shopping even more of an analytical process. She, herself was also able to learn how to do further clothing construction, creating patterns, sketching designs, and all in all, growing in her confidence. Moving to the Minneapolis in 2015, she began styling for À la Mode, as well as becoming the brains (and writer) behind most all of À La Mode's social media and blog.
DEBI
began her styling journey in front of the camera, working as a professional model. So interested in the styles and clothing she was displaying, she continued to cultivate her passion for fashion by enrolling in the Phoenix School of Fashion and Design. Her next step was working one of one with clients, spending years at Cedric for men, the Oval room at Dayton's, downtown, and as a personal shopper with J&D Personal Stylist. Through these experiences, Debi adored helping both men and woman find their confidence through looking and feeling their very best. When she is not wearing her styling hat, Debi is an avid dancer and dance teacher. She has competed as a professional ballroom dancer, winning 1st place as International Latin champion and has helped her students to win at national pro/am competitions. She also loves to cook, especially for her children and family gatherings.

Devin
Devin’s interest in fashion, style and beauty started as a teenager. Her first jobs were in retail which fueled her passion. She became the stylist for her friends in college while she blogged as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Enterprise Leadership, Devin set out to learn all she can with the goal of having her own business in the fashion and beauty industry. As an intern at Nordstrom, she discovered her love for helping women build their confidence through style. There’s nothing like watching frowns turn to a smile! Outside of work, Devin loves spending time with her friends and family, cuddling with her dog, Mack, painting, going to concerts and binge watching The Office.
