SYDNIE

 

Sydnie’s fashion journey started in the stroller.  The mall quickly became her second home as her mom would take her through the aisles of fabrics, colors, and patterns.  Inspiration continued into middle school and high school, getting voted “most fashionable” through her styling efforts.  Little did she know, this love for clothing would turn into something much greater.  Sydnie attended South Dakota State University where she obtained her degree in Apparel Merchandising and minors in Dance and Business.  During college, she led as president of Apparel Merchandising Association and interned for Christopher Straub (Project Runway designer).  After graduation, Sydnie and her husband moved to the Twin Cities to pursue new careers.  Sydnie began working for À La Mode as a stylist August of 2015.  In January 2021, Sydnie took a new role as owner of the business.  She is thrilled to continue to help clients grow in their personal styles and overall, confidence!

Outside of fashion work, Sydnie teaches dance, enjoys ALL of the coffee, has the company of two sweet fur balls (Rusty & Silvie), and loves free time spent with family and friends.

DEVIN

 

Devin’s interest in fashion, style and beauty started as a teenager.  Her first jobs were in retail which fueled her passion. She became the stylist for her friends in college while she blogged as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Enterprise Leadership, Devin set out to learn all she could with the goal of having her own business in the fashion and beauty industry.  As an intern at Nordstrom, she discovered her love for helping women build their confidence through style. There’s nothing like watching frowns turn to a smile! Outside of work, Devin loves spending time with her friends and family, cuddling with her dog, Mack, painting, going to concerts and binge watching The Office.

VICTORIA

 

Victoria developed her love of fashion at a very young age. Growing up in New York, Victoria was involved in hundreds of theatre productions. While Victoria was on stage, her mother was a seamstress and costume designer. She taught Victoria about fine fabrics and quality craftsmanship. As a starving artist, Victoria could be found scouring the vintage markets and thrift stores where she could spot unique pieces to add to her collection.

While in her early 20's she worked in Advertising and had an opportunity to work on the global branding and marketing for Avon. This gave her a chance to learn about fashion and beauty from women located all over the world. Advertising by day and playing clubs with her band in New York's East Village by night, Victoria was getting to create interesting looks from street wear to stage wear.

​

Victoria earned her license in Esthetics in 2008 and became a skin care professional and make up artist with a focus on organic skin care, bridal and special event makeup. Victoria's eye for fashion and style has kept her busy for years as she has styled for weddings, photo shoots, stage, and special events.

​

Victoria moved with her family to Minnesota in 2014. She has recently been looking for a company where she can help others look and feel their best and she was thrilled to find À La Mode!

​

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband and children, writing music with her husband/songwriting partner, drawing and painting, yoga and martial arts. Victoria finds a way to incorporate art and creativity to most all aspects of life.

BRIANNA

 

Brianna manages our social media.  She is currently attending the University of South Dakota and will be graduating with her masters in business administration May of 2024.  Analytics is one of her favorite parts of her studies.

When Brianna is not studying, she works part time at a local vet clinic and also has two fur babies of her own; kitties Olive & Inky.
